		ARTICLES Scumwatch: Ebay Scam By: Crash This scam was brought to my attention by a JimWorld Staffer (Crash) who received it in her email. Crash has done a little bit of legwork to verify the sources and discovered a realistic scam that an unsuspecting user could easily fall for. When reading emails like these, pay attention to the smaller details such as registrant information before becoming the next innocent victim. This email below has been making the rounds and your inbox could be next on the list! Don't be fooled by the clever wording or realistic text, this is NOT an Ebay email. If you should happen to catch this email, ignore it completely, it is yet another scam from the string of companies you can love to hate. From: eBay Support Team To: Subject: Urgent: eBay Account Validation Date sent: Sun, 11 Jan 2004 12:31:19 +0000 (GMT) Send reply to: eBay Support Team Dear Valued eBay Users, eBay Information Management regrets to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due to validation problems.
