| Scumwatch: Spamming my inbox, promoting privacy violation & stealing passwords
This scum alert came straight out of my inbox. Although not the typical scumware installed on your own PC this little program ranks right up there with that junk. I received a short email inviting me to "Spy on their Email! Click here!" and my curiousity was aroused. The email kindly provided the name and address of the company that sent it:

I followed the link provided to this company "http://softwaremakersone.com/" to discover an unpleasant little program called "eMail Spy". Apparently, this Vancouver company thinks that it is a great idea to:
"SECRETLY READ PEOPLE'S CHATS & IM'S!
Not only can you read every e-mail typed on your computer, but eMail Spy will also help you steal people's passwords to help you log-in to their mailbox! It's all possible with eMail Spy! People's private information is a thing of the past!".
On the "About EMail Spy" you can find the following information: eMail spy is a program that you download on the computer that you wish to use it on and it runs in the background undectectable. It logs all of the e-mails and text typed into the computer and saves them to a hidden file on the computer that only you know the location of!".
.. And all for the low, low price of $39.95. Sure. I'll order twelve.
