| Transit Direct 'Unsubscribe' Scam
This particular scam comes to us from a first time poster in the forums. Pay attention to the
'verfication of your email address' part and the deceptive marketing when you unsubscribe. As Jim Gray
says:
"The scummy part of this was that I had to reenter my email address during the unsubscribe and then
when I pressed submit I was taunted by their site with an attempt to install a toolbar: Fun & Games
toolbar (http://toolbar.pickoftheweb.com/potwbar.cab by Traffix Inc). While my security settings
protected me in this case, I'm sure others may be hit with this type of deceptive marketing method in
the future."

and unsubscribe from its mailing list at any time. Each email offer
